Job description
An established health services organization based in New York City is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Pharmacy at the Brooklyn Health Center. Our ambulatory healthcare centers are staffed with a wide range of health professionals to provide extensive medical and diagnostic services. The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for supporting the pharmacist and providing pharmacy services to the members.
Duties will include providing assistance to pharmacists in the dispensing process, manage inventory, answering phones, data entry, and processing payments from members.
The ideal candidate will have some experience working in a pharmacy. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
The schedule will require the individual to work alternate weekends. Must be certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
