Henry's Diner , established in 1925 is a historical diner in downtown Burlington, VT . We offer good old-fashioned diner fare, breakfast all day and Greek food: gyros, Spanakopita, Greek salad, and platters. The atmosphere is old school from the front to the back. Family-owned and operated. Open 6 am to 2 pm daily. No nights! Weekends are a must.

We are seeking a Line Cook that has experience cooking & handling food in a high-volume, casual dining restaurant. Responsible for the preparation, presentation, and execution of all menu items. Must be able to follow health guidelines to ensure safe and sanitary food practices.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of cooking experience. The breakfast experience is a plus!
• Able to work on your feet for the majority of your shift.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where you can be seen by the public.
• Capable of lifting up 40-50 lbs at a time on a regular basis.
• Cook food to correct temps, including meats & eggs.
• Good communication skills and team building.
• The candidate is fully trained you may be responsible for some opening shifts.
• Reference and background checks are required.
