Join our dynamic team as we seek an enthusiastic and dedicated individual for the role of Assistant Professor of Kinesiology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our vibrant academic community and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students.

Salary and Rank:
Compensation for this full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position ranges from $50,000 to $60,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctorate or Terminal Degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Required Skills and Experience:

Proficiency in delivering engaging lectures and practical skills courses in kinesiology, with a focus on health.
Ability to adapt teaching methodologies to various modalities including face-to-face, online, and virtual remote instruction.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
Strong preference for candidates with expertise in fitness and kinesiology courses, in addition to health.
Responsibilities:

Teach a 24-credit-hour load per year, primarily focusing on health classes such as nutrition, wellness coaching, aging and physical activity, behavior change, and addiction and performance.
Utilize diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
Engage in scholarly activities and professional development.
Contribute to the division and college through service activities.
Support student recruitment and retention efforts through direct and indirect initiatives.
