Job description
WaveMark™ Solutions is a single, scalable, enterprise clinical supply chain solution that provides comprehensive knowledge to operate the most efficient workflow and clinical documentation of medical supplies in a health system, including high dollar inventory and medical consumables. Our solution leverages predictive modeling and automated inventory management — coupled with expert support services — to empower teams in the Operating Room, Procedural Labs, and Nursing Units, allowing them to optimize clinical workflows and support product availability through development of a clinically integrated supply chain .
For over 20 years, WaveMark™ Solutions has helped health systems automate and simplify time-consuming clinical workflows, reducing the time clinical staff spend on supply management and optimizing the time they spend on what they do best - providing the best in patient experience and care.
The Enterprise Sales Executive (ESE) will be primary responsible for hunting and closing acute/IDN opportunities by managing a full and complex sales cycle in the East Coast. Collaboration, strategic planning and successful execution are key attributes required for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and own the pipeline for all WaveMark™ Solutions sales opportunities within assigned territory with responsibility for the sales to contracting process for designated offerings.
- Drive revenue performance for all transactions.
- Review and actively influence deal profitability of transactions.
- Focus on selling into acute/IDN Procedural Areas with high focus on the Cardiac Cath, EP, IR Labs and Operating Room.
- Address complex needs of target customers by effectively articulating the WaveMark™ Solutions value proposition.
- Understand unique customer requirements and internal/external factors influencing their needs.
- Work with Wave Mark™ Solutions Operations Team to support successful change management and drive ongoing value for clients.
- Understand the competitive landscape to effectively position WaveMark™ Solutions with prospective clients.
- Maintain timely and accurate sales pipeline, customer and forecast data.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing within approved guidelines.
- Coordinate effectively with broader Cardinal Health organization sales colleagues.
- Influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years selling complex technical solutions and services into healthcare providers including hospitals; Procedural Area and Operating Room experience preferred.
- Understanding of procedural area software requirements, clinical workflows, and fundamentals of healthcare supply chain.
- Prior experience initiating and successfully managing a complex sales cycle from business champion to the C-level executive within a healthcare environment.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills. Experience running technical demonstrations and Ability to demonstrate ROI through use of technology.
- Direct sales experience preferred, ideally in the healthcare environment with proven ability to hunt and close new opportunities.
- Detailed understanding of distribution and supply chain management, and healthcare network environments strongly preferred.
- Ability to negotiate and navigate complex technical business issues.
- Self-sufficient with a strong consultative, solution-oriented selling approach.
- Track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales goals.
- Exhibits a high degree of business acumen, technical competency and analytical skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel 50%+ of time on the East Coast. Live within 30 miles to a major airport in the East Region.
- Must provide proof of and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for the facility which enables access to customer sites in order to perform essential job functions. Proofs include: Hepatitis B, Influenza (current year), MMR, and potentially others.
- Ability to work remotely from home requires a dedicated, quiet, private, distraction free environment with access to high-speed internet. We will provide you with the computer, technology and equipment needed to successfully perform your job. You will be responsible for providing high-speed internet (secure, high-speed, broadband internet connection).
Anticipated salary range: $176,300 - $230,000 (includes targeted variable pay)
