Taylor, located in Laconia and Wolfeboro, is lucky to provide top quality care for our residents. This position is focused on our nursing unit in Laconia and is part of a highly skilled clinical management team.
The Unit Manager (UM) is responsible for assisting the Director of Health Services (DHS) with supervision and some administrative functions of the clinical unit. UM must possess both strong clinical skills and the ability to communicate with Physicians, Residents, Family Members and Staff. The UM must be highly motivated and able to function independently within the job responsibilities. The UM will make sound decisions and delegate/empower others to carry forth directives while supporting the Mission of the Taylor Community. Quality Resident Care and advocacy for Resident needs are essential. Flexibility and promotion of the team concept are essential. The UM is responsible for delegating and supervising the work of other nurses and aids.
This job is primarily Monday-Friday with a mix of administrative and clinical duties. There may be times when working the floor when time allows, and needs are evident. There may also be times when weekends and holidays will be required to support the healthcare team.
This nurse is salary exempt from over-time.
A valid NH Drivers license, criminal background check and
drug testing is required.
