Job description

-Continually develop the security program for SilverEdge Technologies, Inc. while ensuring compliance with company goals and objectives are met through security policy and direction consistent with company directives and government regulations.
-Directly supervise security professionals and manage the day-to-day operations for security program
-Maintain an effective visitor control program to include the processing of outgoing classified visit requests
-Oversee employee and visitor identification badge program
-Perform annual self-inspections and regular audits of security program practices and procedures
-Support outside audits of SilverEdge’s security program by local cognizant offices
-Investigate security infractions, prepare reports to both internal and external customers/management, and issue final reports to local cognizant offices
-Conduct security briefings and debriefings with all employees
-Develop and administer security awareness training
-Develop and maintain (in partnership with IT) an effective security program
-Develop and implement a physical security program that controls access to the buildings
-Manage the facility’s access control system
-Act as the primary point of contact with government security representatives
-Maintain alarm system administration
-Maintain awareness of new/changing laws/regulations, continually review and monitor the status of all security policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance, and ensure executive leadership team is kept apprised of key corporate security issues which have the potential to impact business operations
-Ensures personnel security clearances, visit certification, badge access requests and all self-reporting requirements are processed and maintained for work force
-Coordinate and integrate Operations Security (OPSEC) disciplines into all security program activities
-Identify, develop, and provide program specific security education and briefing materials to employees and subcontractors
-Establish security trainings and briefings specifically tailored to the unique requirements of the program

Must currently have and maintain an active TS (SCI Eligible) clearance

• 6 – 10 years hands on experience performing as an Industry Facility Security Officer
• Experience should include DCSA inspection participation, DISS/NBIS provisioning, detail knowledge of NISPOM CFR32 policy requirement.
• Working knowledge of the National Access Everywhere Security Oversight (NAESOC)
• Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security System (NISS)
• Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Control Access Information Security System (NCAISS)
• Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP)
• Working knowledge of the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS)
• Working knowledge of the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
