Job description
Product Analyst, Eagan, MN (Preferred: candidates local to the Twin Cities, with ability to work onsite in hybrid capacity; 1-2 days per week, and as needed for meetings or milestones. Open to fully remote candidates that align to the required skillsets.)
Kelly Services is seeking a Product Analyst to research, identify and support the build of product features for one of our top clients.
Length: 6 Months (Possibility of extension)
Type: Contract W2
Pay Rate: $50-60/hr. (W2)
Schedule: Standard
Interview Process: Virtual or Onsite
As a Product Analyst, you should have research and problem-solving skills, an understanding of software development and the ability to communicate effectively. You will ensure ongoing product support which may include story writing, documentation, and testing input. The Product Analyst will also help manage the backlog.
A Day In The Life:
The selected resource will be supporting the Utilization Management teams with implementation of a new platform and new capabilities.
Responsible for gathering and interpreting data from various sources, identifying key insights, and providing actionable recommendations to drive product development and enhancement.
Collaborate with team(s) and Stakeholder(s) to discover and deliver the best solution to the market problem(s) presented by the Product Manager or Product Owner (business).
Working with a variety of internal and external partners to elicit and document business requirements for user stories.
Help Product Owner and scrum team to plan work in upcoming sprints, considering a variety of factors such as priority, effort/cost, complexity, dependencies, and business and system impacts
Help document the technology/business needs into product backlog stories/items.
Attends sprint ceremonies and is available to team during the sprint for clarifications and acceptance of user stories.
Aid where needed throughout sprints for the development team, such as answering questions on requirements and providing input on testing strategy.
Maintain technical documentation of system and business processes.
Build strong relationships with team members, business users, stakeholders, subject matter experts, vendors, to help navigate through problems, decisions, and related implications.
Required Skills & Experiences:
3+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
Experience working in the managed care/healthcare insurance industry
Experience with writing business/functional requirements and Agile methodologies
Solid written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties
Exposure to process improvement with high level of execution focus preferred.
Solid analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
