Summary:
You will play a vital role in ensuring continuity in student learning and maintaining a safe classroom environment in the absence of the regular teacher. Please note that there are no guaranteed hours per week for these positions.

Essential Duties:

Report to the Front Desk/Administrative Assistant upon arrival at the school.
Maintain classroom routines and uphold the standards set by the regular teacher.
Implement the teacher's lesson plans and adhere to the school curriculum.
Supervise student behavior during class and other activities.
Keep accurate records of attendance and student progress.
Follow school policies and procedures, including those related to remote instruction.
Be proficient in operating a remote classroom setting and familiar with Teacher Support Technology such as Google Classroom, Zoom, and Infinite Campus.
Communicate effectively with the regular teacher and school administration.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Understanding of Remote Instruction and Technology is preferred.
Possession of a "Substitute Teacher Authorization" from the Colorado Department of Education is preferred.
