Vaco Richmond is recruiting for a Staff Accountant who will have the opportunity to be a valued member of a dynamic and robust accounting team in the Richmond, VA area
This role offers the potential flexibility of working from home some days during the week.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related years of general accounting experience.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Understanding of accounting principles and/or previous use in an ERP system
(Having experience in Acumatica is a plus).
Duties: - Prepare and issue payments to vendors.
- Reconcile statements, invoices, and bank statements.
- Prepare and post Journal Entries.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
- Collaborate with other members of the accounting team to complete month/year-end closing procedures.
