Job description

Stamford Health Medical Group in partnership with Stamford Health System seeks a full-time, BC Pediatrician to join a thriving Pediatric group in downtown Stamford.  This position is open due to an upcoming retirement of one of the providers. New pediatrician will step into a readymade practice and join an established team of 6 pediatricians and a nurse practitioner. The Pediatric Center opened in 1980 and has consistently provided excellent pediatrics care services to families in Fairfield County and across the NY border in Westchester County.

• Office is open M F, 9am to 5pm
• 4-day work week
• Call is 1:6, equally shared. Nurse-triage line takes call from 9pm to 7am
• 19 exam rooms
• Stamford Hospital has a separate Ped ER, with 8 private rooms, only Ped ER in region
• All physicians equally rotate Saturday mornings, 9am noon, every 6 th week
• Stamford Hospital has Ped Hospitalists 24/7
• Separate waiting rooms for sick and well visits
• EMR used is ECW
