Job description

We are currently looking for an Applied Behavioral Scientist who is passionate about building individualized and adaptive experiences that aim to improve human health and wellbeing. You have expertise in evidence-based approaches to improving adherence, motivation, and efficacy of digital interventions. You have a background in determining whether, how, and when an experience is delivered, with knowledge on how to adapt and readapt experiences in response to the evolving status of the user. You are a great teammate and have a dedication to integrating behavioral science and design in support of deepening our impact on human wellbeing.

Key Qualifications

Description

This is scientific role that requires versatility across a variety of tasks in a highly collaborative environment. Collaborate with scientists and software engineers to maximize the effectiveness of wellbeing and cognitive interventions that are modulated by the user’s initial and changing state (based on self-report, user behaviors, and physiological sensor data). You will You will carry out analyses to pull out meaningful and actionable insights from multimodal datasets You will optimize human-computer interactions in novel technologies using multimodal tools that capture emotional, cognitive, and behavioral dimensions of user engagement and fatigue You will be a subject matter expert on selecting tailoring variables based on evidence (practical, clinical, theoretical, and empirical) to make intervention decisions that impact proximal and distal outcomes

Education & Experience

PhD (or MS and 3 or more years of industry research experience) in Behavioral or Cognitive Psychology, Behavioral Economics, Human-computer Interaction, or related field
