MINIMUM STARTING WAGE $17.00+/HR., DEPENDENT UPON QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE! PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: Truck Drivers operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner while providing courteous and complete CommunityAid bin service to partners or product deliveries to stores on a designated route. The Driver is responsible for safely operating their assigned truck, loading all product (including but not limited to: bags, furniture, containers, and trash), and accurate recording of bin weight for proper payment to our bin partners. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Customer Service - Provide consistent, excellent customer service to the public, partners, management, and customers.
• Safety - Maintain safe operation of all company vehicles in compliance with CommunityAid's Vehicle Policy; perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of assigned vehicle in accordance with company policy; immediately utilize standard procedure to report safety issues; coordinate with the Logistics Manager to complete all repairs/service necessary on company vehicles.
• Logistics - Complete assigned routes to empty partner bins or make store deliveries as needed; ensure all routes are completed in a timely and professional manner; accurately record bin weight data to ensure proper payment to CommunityAid bin partners; monitor bin locations for evidence of unacceptable partner practices or dumping, and notify supervisor as needed; clean area around bin locations; availability to perform random pick-ups or deliveries as directed by the Logistics Manager; assist with loading or unloading of product as necessary.
• Teamwork - work collaboratively and with a high degree of flexibility with the Logistics Manager, Truck Driver Helper(s), and store personnel to accomplish logistical goals; provide feedback as requested and participate in the creation and execution of new initiatives for the express purpose of increasing efficiency and safety; provide training to logistic new hires at the request of management.

Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid PA Driver's License required
Minimum age 21 years of age preferred
Ability to pass post-offer, pre-employment physical lift and drug test
Minimum of six months experience working in a warehouse/labor position
DOT certification (or the ability to obtain one before 1st day of employment)
Scheduling flexibility and evenings and weekend availability
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
Adherence to consistent attendance and weekly hours expectations defined by employee's DoL status (full-time/part-time/seasonal)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
Ability to push and pull up to 75 pounds
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to sit for extended periods
