Production Lead

The Production Lead will support the department supervisor in directing work flow.

Our Operations department in Lebanon, TN is now looking for a Production Lead.

Key Tasks

• Responsible for providing guidance and direction to production team members during assemble operations of manual wheelchairs.
  
  
• Lead standard work training that ensures all team members are properly trained to meet production goals.
  
  
• Monitor production processes to ensure thatthey are running efficiently, while identifying and resolving waste.
  
  
• Identify process abnormalities and rejects from production line and report in daily Gemba.
  
  
• Maintain a Safe and Clean work environment for production team. See Something Say Something initiative with a goal of
• Zero Lost Time Incidents.
  
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  
  
• Basic proficiency with computers (Windows, Excel, Word, etc.)
  
  
• Responds quickly and appropriately when the line is down.
  
  
• Support and collaborate closely with Production Supervisor to ensure seamless daily operations.

Your Background

• High school diploma or GED

• 2+ years of previous production lead experience is preferred or a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Permobil production line operator.
  
  
• Adaptable to change is a must as it’s required to learn and gain thorough knowledge of all stations
