Intermediate District 287 is looking for an Extended School Year Student Intern!
An Extended School Year Student Intern is responsible for assisting their mentor teacher in facilitating class activities with students and learn more about becoming an educator. Education and Experience Requirements: - Must be a current high school or transition student in Intermediate District 287

Essential Functions: - Access and learn about materials used in the classroom, such as books, manuals, technologies, tests, lab equipment, etc.
- Participate in routine activities with their mentor teachers such as classroom activities, cafeteria and hallway assignments, team meetings, etc.
- Prepare materials for lessons and activities
- Create and maintain a safe, equitable learning environment
- Observe mentor teacher while instructing and planning
