Job description

We are currently seeking a Junior to Mid-level Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. As one of the leading Amazon Web Services (AWS) partners for data services, we embark on large-scale, innovative projects, and we invite you to contribute your skills and enthusiasm to our collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Gain a deep understanding of code flow and its interactions with various components.
Interpret project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to develop and execute test cases.
Set up, maintain, and implement test automation frameworks across multiple application platforms, including Mobile, Desktop, and Web. Build test scenarios and acceptance tests.
Investigate customer-reported issues, test bugs, and generate and manage bug reports.
Handle technical communications, comprehend customer systems, and collaborate with deployment teams.
Work with deployment teams to resolve level issues, contribute to product design, and provide insights on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
Document all testing activities in daily and weekly reports.
Analyze and deconstruct software systems, collaborating with other teams to enhance overall design.
Research test tools, methodologies, and industry trends, continuously improving existing practices and processes.
Ensure the final quality of production releases.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in the IT industry.
Strong programming skills in Java (or Python).
AWS experience or knowledge required (ALB, EC2, ECS, Fargate, SQS, etc).
SQL skills for new feature testing and core app features OR experience with C#.
Testing experience is essential.
Spark experience.
Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for UI Testing Framework.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of programming languages and process management methodology.
Familiarity with test methodologies and corresponding tools.

Other Qualifications:

Exposure to Behavior Driven Development and programming and testing experience.
Ability to identify risks and errors in an application.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Passion for testing, development, and design.
