Job description

Position Summary \
\
Support the Process Automation Team at Health First Health Plans by identifying processes that can be simplified, digitized or eliminated by use of Robotics Process Automation (RPA). Identify opportunities to use RPA to increase productivity, formalize an enterprise automation roadmap and build the business case for RPA. \
\
Primary Accountabilities \
\
1. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify automation opportunities by analyzing processes and assessing feasibility for automation. \
\
2. Analyze, understand, and document business processes in detail for the purpose of RPA deployment. \
\
3. Guide and direct junior staff as needed. \
\
4. Participate in various types of interviews, meetings or workshops to define, optimize, and document processes to configure RPA solutions. \
\
5. Leverage process improvement experience to streamline and optimize processes for RPA implementation. \
\
6. Collect user input to define RPA dashboard capabilities. \
\
7. Assemble and report quarterly goal and result updates to the IT VP and/or team lead. \
\
8. Assist with defining and executing RPA plans cycles, including multi-year plans and budget and business reviews. \
\
9. Manage vendor relationships. \
\
10. Deploy a multi-disciplinary approach (i.e. machine learning, AI tools, business analytics, etc.) to solving business challenges. \
\
11. Contribute to building a repository of tools, playbooks and best practices. \
\
\
Qualifications \
\
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS \
\
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems or related or 4 years related work experience \
\
Licensure: None Required \
\
Certification: UiPath Certified RPA Associate (UiRPA) \
\
Work Experience: \
\
3 years of experience with assessing, executing and documenting RPA business opportunities \
\
1 year of programming experience \
\
2 years experience within health payer industry or related systems and applications of varying scope and complexity \
\
2 years of hands-on experience in developing automation tools \
\
Experience with systems development life-cycle and structured programming methods (both traditional and agile), including requirements definition, solution design, program development, testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support and maintenance. \
\
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: \
\
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in scenarios that are not well defined or structured \
\
Strategic and analytical thinker, able to move seamlessly from high-level concepts to details and solutions without much guidance \
\
Comfortable working with data and reporting tools such as Excel, PowerBI, etc. \
\
Track record of meeting and/or exceeding established client, project and performance goals \
\
Excellent interpersonal communications skills -strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present in a clear and concise manner to all levels within the enterprise \
\
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\
\
Education: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems, Business Management or related \
\
Licensure: No additional required\
\
Certification: Lean, Six Sigma or PMP certification \
\
Work Experience: No additional required\
\
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: \
\
Familiarity with Office VBA, SharePoint, OneDrive preferred. Advanced MS Office skills a plus \
\
