Full-Time in Shreveport, LA - Entry Level $15/hr to $20/hr
The IT Services Dispatcher is a member of the client services team. This position serves as our client's first impression. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, proactive and thrive in a multi-task environment. The IT Service Dispatcher is responsible for taking incoming calls from clients making sure to gather and record complete and accurate information about each client service request. The Dispatcher generates a record of client requests using Technologix PSA tools and then ensures that the best resource is assigned to fully address client requests based on urgency and service level agreement (SLA). The Dispatcher reports to the Client Services Coordinator.

Role and Responsibilities :
- Act as the first point of contact for all types of inbound calls.
- Pre-process service requests as they arrive via phone including detailing the technical components of the problem and gathering information from remote monitoring tools available.
- Ensure positive client satisfaction with every point of client engagement.

- Interpersonal skills such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer-care.
- Ability to work in a professional team and communicate effectively.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
- Effective problem solving and critical thinking abilities to develop logical solutions to any problems that arise.
- Skilled at handling high-pressure situations that may arise related to technology errors or incidents.
- Ability to demonstrate patience and empathy when interacting with clients.
- Service awareness of all organization's key services for which support is being provided.
- Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide services.
- Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details.
- Self-motivated with the need for little supervision.
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations :
- 1 year of IT or customer service experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a call center or possess relevant telephony skills
