Job description
Our client is looking to hire an Epic ASAP Consultant to assist with a project that should last at least until the end of 2024. Please consider the notes below, and inquire if you feel your experience aligns well with the need. This role as an Epic ASAP Consultant is structured as a contract through the end of 2024 BUT with a strong preference to be able to convert this Consultant to a Full-Time Employee (FTE). - This is a remote position. However, candidates cannot reside in any of these states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York ... due to labor law issues
- Epic ASAP certification required
- EpicCare Ambulatory certification or experience highly preferred (to help with Urgent Care module)
- EpicCare Inpatient - Orders certification or experience preference lists, smartsets and ordersets preferred
- Order transmittal certification or experience preferred
- In Basket or Results routing experience would be a bonus
Key notes: - Two step interview process, Microsoft Teams w/ video
- Position is entirely remote but preference for candidates in EST timezone
- Need strong experience with Epic ASAP Builds; currently converting 5 departments from using ASAP to Ambulatory
- Users supported are primarily Doctors and Trauma Nurses
- No on-call during the contract period; if converted to an FTE some on-call likely required.
