Job description


Summary

Starbright Early Learning Center located in Everett is currently hiring a motivated, energetic, creative professionals to join our team. We have a full-time position as a float teacher in our infant, toddler and preschool classrooms, Monday through Friday 9:30am-6:00 pm. We emphasize creativity, self-discipline, self-worth while working with children individually to help them identify their own unique strengths and abilities. Our teachers understand the importance of developmentally appropriate practice in order to provide an enriched environment and high-quality education.
Applicants must be a team player, flexible, and dependable. Duties include but are not limited to supervision, care, hygiene and guidance of young children, able to lift at least 50 lbs., maintain a physical environment which is clean, safe, and organized, communicate effectively with families and other staff, and follow daily schedule of classroom routines and activities. We prefer candidates to have experience in working with young children as well as certification in CPR/1st Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens/HIV, negative TB test, Food Handlers Card, and must pass background check through Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families prior to start date. STARS or college courses are a plus, but not required. After 90 days of hire for full-time staff, we offer health and dental insurance, paid holidays, as well as paid schooling for Early Childhood Education through the Early Achievers Grant.
