Senior Associate Lead - Employee Relations In this position, across the North Americas Region for Infosys Limited, the Senior Associate Lead – Employee Relations will explore innovative means to review HR operations effectiveness; provide Employee Relations solutions to all levels of employees, BPHRs and managers, with an emphasis on analysis and resolution of Employee Relations (ER) issues, investigations, and other related matters.
Role holder will be responsible for proactively bringing escalated matters to resolution, ensuring proper process and documentation steps are followed, problem solving in areas with ambiguity and process improvements.

Location for this position is across our Hubs in US (Richardson, TX, Raleigh, NC, Phoenix, AZ, Indianapolis, IN, Hartford, CT, Bridgewater, NJ)
This position may require some travel and/ or relocation.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Ensure that all employee matters are handled with a consistent and focused approach that is aligned with Infosys’ vision and values.
- Ensure investigations are appropriately resolved and that HR policies are applied consistently and in compliance with internal procedures.
- Conduct timely, objective, and thorough internal investigations involving coordination and collaboration with other internal partners and prepare all required documentation.
- Investigate complaints, such as working conditions, disciplinary actions, employee grievances, security violations, background investigations matters, immigration compliance and other complaints.
- Update central trackers with the required details for ER dashboards and data analysis.
- Assist with efforts to develop and maintain positive employee relations/practices, to include coaching of employees, HR personnel and business leaders.
- Act as point of contact for employees with concerns about employee relations matters.
- Provide advice and guidance to HR colleagues and managers for the timely resolution of any internal complaints and difficult corrective action situations.
- Facilitate trainings and mentoring activities as needed.
- Review and manage ADA requests in accordance with applicable Company policies and applicable state and federal laws
- Record and track ER data in a thorough and timely manner. Maintain a record of all cases using proper documentation standards. Develop and complete required reports.
- Craft strategies for resolving employee issues and minimizing adverse impact
- Contribute to the development, implementation, interpretation and administration of employee relations policies and procedures to support compliance with employment law
- Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to all issues
- Escalate cases as needed with ER leadership and Legal Counsel as required
- Coordinate with external consultants, vendors on process and SLAs
CORE COMPETENCIES / KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 2-4 years of relevant work experiences in HR domain, or as a HR Generalist, BPHR/HRBP handling Employee Relations within their roles
- Must be a polished Human Resources professional, with refined interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience investigating, resolving and documenting complaints, with high attention to detail.
- Knowledge of US local, state and Federal employment laws and regulations
- Knowledge of the leave requirements and other legal protections afforded by the FMLA, ADA, and other applicable laws
- Knowledge of Canada employment laws and regulations beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage a fluctuating workload, excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
- Extraordinary teammate who values accountability, integrity, collaboration, and creativity
- Team player - understanding that flexibility is needed in this position
- Availability for occasional calls with India based employees which may occur outside of regular work hours
- Good critical thinking and analysis skills
- Exhibit calm responsiveness to emergency or stressful situations
- Ability to work from an Infosys office, up to 40 hours per week, as required
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plus
- Travel up to 10-15%
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
