Job description
The City of Port Wentworth Leisure Services Department is currently seeking qualified applicants for Leisure Services Aide / Gymnastics instructor position. Applicants must be extremely dependable and reliable. Immediate positions are available. Our program is searching for outgoing, positive, and reliable aides/instructors to teach non-competitive gymnastics children ages: 3 years old-18years old. As well as help with concessions and at family events.
A background in gymnastics, cheerleading or tumbling is preferred and a love for children is a must! Our instructors must be enthusiastic, dependable, punctual, and have reliable transportation. Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, valid driver's license, at least one-year experience teaching tumbling or gymnastics, recreation, or youth activities. This position rages from $10.00 to $15.00 an hour depending on level of experience. The chosen applicant must submit to a physical, extensive background check, drug screening, and fill out a child abuse policy form.
