Overview:
The ideal candidate for the Chief Quality Officer position is a visionary leader with exceptional skills in team building, leadership, and talent development. They bring a wealth of experience in Supplier Quality management within the medical device manufacturing sector, complemented by a strong foundation in lean manufacturing initiatives. Their analytical prowess, problem-solving capabilities, and proficiency in managing complex projects make them a valuable asset. The candidate will have increased direct involvement in production floor activities at three manufacturing locations. This hands-on approach will not only help in identifying and addressing opportunities to drive growth but will foster a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.

Strategic Visionary: Ability to develop long-term visions and strategies that align with the companys core values and business objectives including providing guidance on M&A activity to support growth in the medical device industry.
Quality Assurance & Supplier Quality Expertise: Skilled in developing and implementing Quality Assurance plans, including critical control points, preventive measures, and corrective actions and developing and enforcing strong validation culture.
Team Development and Management: Proven record in hiring top talent, coaching, mentoring, monitoring employee quality performance and providing performance feedback to cultivate high-performing teams.
Hands-On Leadership: Demonstrates a results-oriented leadership style with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and project management.
Process Improvement and Lean Manufacturing: Extensive experience with lean manufacturing initiatives and a commitment to continuous improvement of production quality and efficiency.
Adaptability and Initiative: Exhibits a high degree of initiative and creativity, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments as well as communicating Quality Operational activities to Senior leadership.
Stakeholder Engagement: Proficient in developing strategic relationships with key customers and partners to support company growth while driving improved and demonstrated performance.
Financial and Operational Acumen: Ability to meet Quality Assurance financial objectives, manage budgets, and analyze variances to initiate corrective actions.
