Role: AWS Solution Architect

Work location: Malvern, PA Onsite

Duration: 02/01/2024 to 02/01/2025

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

1. Create blueprints for hybrid cloud infrastructures centered around AWS (network, server, storage, security, and management software topologies), Run technical workshops and advise customers on architectural and strategic IT decisions

2. Participate in architecture definition for Cloud Initiatives applying industry standard methodologies and technologies

3. Provide hands-on, prototypes, and implementations incorporating cloud engineering standard methodologies, Develop technical content like white paper etc

4. Create a well-informed cloud strategy and handle the adaption process

5. Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software

6. Develop and organize cloud systems

7. Work closely with IT security to supervise the company's cloud privacy

8. Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner

9. Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to optimally meet the strategic needs

10. Reports about area readiness/quality, and raise red flags in crisis situations which are beyond responsibilities

11. Responsible for resolving crisis situations within responsibilities

12. Suggests technical and functional improvements to chip in to the product

Required skills:

1. 6+ years of relevant work experience with AWS Cloud services (AWS)

2. Authority in Python coding language

3. Experience with Automation provisioning using Terraform

4. Vast Experience with Active Directory, IAM, Roles

5. Expert in AWS Architecture, VPC Networking, Terraform, AWS Primitives and resource limits at massive scale, Expert in Python another coding languages

6. Co-Design AWS Account Creation Automation, Implementation of Egress Design, Assist with cost saving network architecture changes

7. Demonstrated experience in solution design, architecture, and deployment of scalable and secure cloud-based solutions

8. Solid understanding of networking concepts, security standard methodologies, and cloud infrastructure architecture

9. Deep understanding of cloud component architecture: Microservices, Containers, IaaS, Storage, Security, Knowledge of routing/switching technologies

10. Good knowledge of cloud computing delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) and deployment models related to Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud service

11. Ability to organize and document solutions

12. A passion for streamlining systems and processes to make the difficult trivial

13. Effective communication (oral & written), collaboration, and communication skills

14. Result oriented approach

15. Would be a plus: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional level certification
