Position Overview: As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, including the ability to pass a drug and background check.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Maintenance:

   • Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
   • Conduct preventive maintenance to extend the life of HVAC equipment.

2. Troubleshooting:

   • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, addressing electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration problems.
   • Develop effective solutions to resolve technical issues promptly.

3. System Testing:

   • Perform testing and inspections of HVAC systems to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
   • Conduct system performance tests and make adjustments as needed.

4. Customer Communication:

   • Communicate with clients to understand their HVAC needs and address inquiries.
   • Provide recommendations for system upgrades and improvements.

5. Documentation:

   • Maintain accurate and detailed records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.
   • Complete service reports and document work performed.

6. Equipment Upgrades:

   • Recommend and install energy-efficient and cost-effective upgrades to HVAC systems.
   • Stay informed about industry advancements and new technologies.

7. Safety Compliance:

   • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on HVAC systems.
   • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

8. Clean Driving Record:

   • Maintain a clean driving record and operate company vehicles safely.
   • Drive to various job sites as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC certification or apprenticeship program.
• 3+ years of experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and controls.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC system issues.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration principles and components.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid HVAC technician license, driver's license, and a clean driving record.
