**Position is in Memphis, TN** per diem offered to candidates that are 50+ miles away from facility

Description:

• Contractors will be performing electrical wiring and assembly of large industrial control panels
• Candidates must be able to read/understand wiring schematics and diagrams (point to point wiring)
• Experience with crimping, pulling, terminating, wiring between 12V - 480V 3-phase electrical systems, and installing electrical harness and sub assemblies

Responsibilities of the role:

• Electrical and mechanical assembly , panel wiring, while adhering to safety, quality, and customer specifications

• Assembles finished units per customer specifications including but not limited to Pulling wire, crimp wire, install and , and test wiring and wiring harnesses using voltmeter and ohmmeter.

• Performs part replacement on tools as needed and according to schedule

• Resolves routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels

• Works under direct, close supervision, with output monitored frequently

• Follow detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids, diagrams and schematics.

• Ensure that assigned area is clean and organized per 5S standards

• Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy

• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Coordinates with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members to accomplish - smaller group teams

• Keeps inventory personnel abreast of spare parts inventory and locations for ease of order fulfillments

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

8 + years experience in Industrial Electrician roles, Journeyman Electrician or equivalent experience & point to point and schematics (MUST HAVE)

• Highly proficient with electrical switchgear, three phase power systems, and pulling, crimping, terminating wire.
• Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to interpret blueprints , graphs, schematics, and diagrams.
