Department: Teaching Staff
Reports to: Principal

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The teacher will create a caring, Christian, and positive learning environment for academic, social-emotional, and spiritual development. He/She will develop lesson plans, formulate classroom instruction, and facilitate learning for all students. The teacher will provide accommodations to support the student’s growth in the general curriculum and if necessary also work with resource staff to adjust instruction to meet the needs of all students. The teacher will maintain the student’s academic progress and records along with various assessments to document the progress of the student through the year. The teacher will maintain a line of communication with the parents, students, and school staff.

Education and Experience
A valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate or Provisional Nebraska Teaching Certificate with the appropriate endorsement.
Bachelor's Degree in Education from an accredited college or university.
Teaching experience in Kindergarten is preferred, but not required.
Applicant must complete a background check and the Archdiocese of Omaha required Safe Environment training.
