Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a full-time or part-time Lead Catering Server to join our team at Lambeau Field and Titletown in Green Bay, Wisconsin. As a Lead Catering Server, you will lead the food and beverage team during events while delivering the highest quality of service to our guests. Delaware North operates concessions, premium dining, and restaurants at the Green Bay Packers' Lambeau Field and Titletown since 2012. At Titletown we manage The Turn, featuring Topgolf Swing Suites, and operate special events including seasonal sledding and ice skating.
- Trains assigned banquet catering associates to ensure that all procedures and policies are followed
- Ensures all banquet functions are fully staffed, set up on time and according to banquet event order and clients’ specifications
- Conducts pre-function meetings with banquet supervisor and staff; delegates and communicates assignments to staff in accordance with manager direction
- Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures
- Ensures standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout banquet and service areas
- Reports any unsatisfactory food and beverage items mentioned by guests to management and documents according to company procedures
- Preforms break down of event space if indicated
- Assists in greeting guests, assigning guests to tables and taking care of all guests’ needs
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in service industry required
- Previous experience in banquets or other food service environment preferred
- Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards
- Ability to complete required preemployment food safety and alcohol service training
- Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several employees simultaneously and plan ahead
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with staff and guests, and prepare written reports
- Ability to be available for varying Titletown event schedules set up by Titletown event staff
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds for set-up, service and clean-up of functions; including carrying trays of food
- Ability to stand or walk for entire length of shift; may include walking up and down stairs
- Good mobility to maneuver between tables to deliver food to customers
- Variable temperatures – required to move between hot, noisy conditions of kitchen and climate-controlled dining
