These roles will be responsible for networking across key hospitals, leading business development and negotiating opportunities for GSK products. Reporting into the National Business Development and Tenders Manager, the National Commercial Managers can be based remotely in Australia, with regular inter-state travel.Your role will be varied and will include:Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders and decision-makers in the healthcare sectorIdentifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the state health and hospital sectorConducting thorough market research to understand trends, competitors, and customer needsLead negotiations with states health departments, state and private hospitalsBuild strong relationships cross-functionally, across all internal stakeholdersEnsure that all business activities and interactions adhere to relevant pharmaceutical regulations, industry standards, and ethical guidelinesAbout you?To be successful in the role, you are a strategic thinker, a relationship builder and have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical (or related) industryYou will also have:Significant key account management experience within the hospital sector or similar backgroundBachelors or higher degree in the pharmacy, health science, business, economics or related disciplineStrong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with senior leadersUnderstanding of healthcare regulations and market dynamicsStrong commercial acumen and experience in negotiating commercial agreementsSuperior senior stakeholder engagement and ability to build new relationshipsWhy join us?At GSK, we challenge ourselves to get Ahead Together – to make a positive impact on global health; for growth; in an environment where people can thrive.
