PeaceHealth is seeking a Dietitian I - Nutrition Services for a Per Diem/Relief, 0.00 FTE, Day position. The general salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $28.02 – $42.03. The actual hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the job/position responsibilities, location, terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement, education, training, work experience, seniority, work performance, etc.

This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of nutrition care, consulting with other healthcare professionals as needed.

PHOR – Home Health: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire. PIMC: Will perform environmental services, security assistance and emergency response duties as needed. Requires BART training (de-escalation training) within 30 days of hire. Whatcom Cardiology Department only: WA State Medical Assistant Phlebotomist License required within 90 days of hire. PHSW only: WA State Dietitian Certification required only for outpatient billing Dietitians; Dietitian Certification not required for inpatient Dietitians. Bariatric Surgery Dietitians: As part of a multidisciplinary, outpatient clinic you will work with a dynamic team of surgeons, physician assistants, psychologist, nurses, and support staff. Working as a bariatric dietitian is very rewarding; patients are highly motivated, you get to build long-term relationships, and be part of their ongoing health journey both before and after bariatric surgery. Job duties include one-on-one nutrition counseling, teaching group nutrition classes, and leading support groups.
