We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our team for a highways construction scheme in Lincoln. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to ensure the successful delivery of the project, which includes block paving, signage installation, drainage works, and footway improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
·Assist in the planning and execution of construction activities in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
·Conduct site surveys, measurements, and assessments to support the development of construction plans and methodologies.
·Set out and monitor the alignment, levels, and dimensions of works to ensure accuracy and compliance with design requirements.
·Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to coordinate construction activities and resolve technical issues.
·Perform quality inspections and checks to ensure workmanship meets established standards and specifications.
·Maintain accurate records of site activities, including as-built drawings, survey data, and progress reports.
·Support the implementation of health and safety procedures and promote a culture of safety awareness on site.

Requirements:
·Degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or related field.
·Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably in highways or infrastructure projects.
·Proficiency in using surveying instruments and software (e.g., Total Station, AutoCAD).
·Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and specifications related to highways works.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
·Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
·Valid CSCS card and relevant industry qualifications would be advantageous.
