$4,000 Sign-on Bonus

$2.50 shift differential for evenings, weekends, and overnight

Rotating Schedule: will include every other weekend overnight shift

At the Hampton - Newport News Community Services Board, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care to individuals in crisis, be it related to mental health, substance abuse, or behavioral challenges. Our Crisis Receiving Center serves those in crisis with immediate need, offering support, treatment, and a path towards recovery. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and play a pivotal role in our mission to provide exceptional care during critical moments.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our Crisis Receiving Center, you will be an essential part of our multidisciplinary team, responsible for delivering expert care to individuals facing a variety of crises. Your role will encompass medication administration, monitoring of clients, and collaboration with our dedicated staff to ensure that our clients receive the care they need during their stay.

Requirements: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Virginia State Board of Nursing and one year of experience in the administration of medication or in a substance abuse treatment, psychiatric setting, or long-term care facility including the dispensing of narcotic medication.

Current H-NNCSB employees are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
