Job description
Exquisite Dollhouse in Brownsville, TX is looking for independent contractors to join our team as Patient Care Aides at our post op recovery home. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and reliable. This position is a great supplemental income, and or a gig job's income!
We are looking for the following shifts: 7:30am4:30pm & 11pm-7:30am. All shifts must have weekend availability.
Responsibilities
- Caregiver aides help feed, bathe and dress the medical patients in their charge. Depending on the patient's condition, the aide may assist with moving and transporting them; this may include helping them walk or assisting them with massages and physical therapy.
- Caregiver answer patients' calls for assistance and help prepare them for surgery. They can also be responsible for tracking vital signs, checking blood pressure, temperature, nutritional intake and heart rate.
- They may observe the patient's condition and reporting any changes to physicians and nursing staff.
- In addition, aides are usually responsible for changing linens, replacing bedpans and cleaning a patient's room, as well as general areas.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Caregiver.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Committed to health & safety.
- Able to do housework and cooking.
- Well organized and reliable.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Positive and compassionate attitude.
- Strong ethics.
- Physical stamina.
- The ability to act quickly & responsibly in emergency situations
