Department: Quality Assurance
Reports to: QA Lead
Responsibilities:
- Assist in day to day operations of Quality Assurance.
- Analyze requirements from the Product team.
- Test documentation maintenance using test design techniques.
- Test execution: functional, performance, regression.
- Bug reporting and tracking.
- Preparing test environment.
- Provide feedback to management regarding necessary changes and updates.
- May include other duties as assigned by Management.
- Benchmark Industry Trends.
Position Requirements:
- Available to work 10 - 15 hours per week in the Santa Barbara Office.
- Must be a critical thinker, and a detail-oriented problem-solver.
- Good theoretical knowledge of QA theor.
- Understanding of software development life cycle.
- Good knowledge of client-server architecture and REST API.
- Basic knowledge of Postman.
- Good knowledge of issue tracking systems(Redmine, Jira etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and analyze problems without extensive context.
- Curious and quick learner, with a healthy dose of initiative.
- Excellent time management skills, able to efficiently prioritize tasks and remain flexible.
- Enjoy a fast-paced and team-based environment with the ability to create a positive environment facing adversities.
