The highest quality, most widely read magazine in the state, Virginia Living ’s combination of smart, engaging stories and stunning photography makes it a must-read for anyone interested in the Commonwealth. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Digital Editor to join the Virginia Living team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the magazine’s digital asset strategy and special projects to increase our audience engagement and number of subscribers. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in popular social media platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, and TikTok, and possesses the skills to foster strong relationships with these platforms. Essential to the role is a proficiency in content organization, architecture, and a foundational understanding of SEO. The candidate should be adept at crafting strategies that intertwine and improve SEO, UX, social media, and newsletters effectively. Experience in creating and managing databases is also important in this role. A proven track record in SEO, combined with a genuine curiosity about new audience engagement methods, is highly desirable. The candidate will be instrumental in growing our audience, deepening our ties with loyal readers, and increasing our subscribers. It's of utmost importance that they value Virginia Living magazine and its print audience as the bedrock of our publishing efforts.
