This Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will join the Neurohospitalist team at St. George Regional Hospital in St. George, Utah.

We are an established team of two physicians and will be adding one APP to help provide neurology care and outpatient follow-up. A typical day on service includes inpatient rounding, stroke education to patients and families, and assisting during code stroke. In addition to hospital responsibilities, the APP will provide follow-up care in the stroke clinic. While often working independently, the APP will work closely with physicians in a collaborative team approach. Physician support is available throughout the day.

Full-time and fully benefits-eligible, it is anticipated that the APP will typically work 15.5 11-hour shifts per month. This will include weekends and holidays. There are currently no call expectations associated with this role.

An ideal candidate will have a neurological or hospital medicine background, with a significant interest in neurology, stroke, and stroke prevention.
