Job description
We are a global leader in Sporting Goods Manufacturing founded in the 1930s and are most known for creating the first rubber sole for mountain climbing!
We are seeking a Chief Rubber Process Engineering Manager to be responsible for driving innovation and efficiency in rubber processing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and solve production process challenges, and develop opportunities for process improvement.
- Analyze production process data and recommend changes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Lead key process improvement initiatives and coordinate with other departments to ensure successful implementation.
- Coordinate and manage projects, from design through validation, in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process control documents.
- Optimize product design and production processes to meet customer requirements.
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure the most cost-effective solutions are implemented.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
- Provide leadership and support to team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related
- 5+ years of experience in rubber processing
- Experience in process design and development, improvement, and optimization techniques
- Significant managerial / leadership experience
