Our client is a custom injection molder located in Grand Rapids, MI that makes various plumbing products and plastic injection molded products.

Process Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $22.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 02:30pm to 01:10am)

• The ability to set up, run and process injection mold presses and make machine adjustments following a process parameter sheet and basic knowledge of plastic injection molding and appropriate steps to processing changes to ensure quality parts are being made. Make boxes for production runs, printing labels and helping break operators.
• Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Interprets company policies to workers, enforces and follows safety regulations.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department or work crew.

Process Technician Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 to 6 months of related experience.
• Plastic injection experience. 
• Ability to stand/bend/twist for entirety of shift and ability to move or lift 25lbs. 

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
