The Asset Manager is a vital position within the EOIR tasked with overseeing the IT Asset Management (ITAM) program. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework to recommend and standardize IT services selection, planning, delivery, and support. The individual will manage the Asset Management Team and be directly reportable to the EOIR Government Lead. The incumbent is responsible for the meticulous tracking and management of IT assets, utilizing tools like ServiceNow or other Government-approved systems to maintain up-to-date records of the assets and their configurations. A strong emphasis is placed on accuracy, with updates required within 12 hours of any changes to the actual asset. The specialist will manage inventory, perform bi-annual 100% equipment checks, support audit events, and ensure the lifecycle of hardware and software licenses is documented and tracked efficiently. Weekly incident reports and task status updates must be provided to Government leads or GTMs. The ability to provide swift and precise information during IT asset audit events is critical.

Requirements: U.S Citizenship is required.
An active Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
This position is onsite at designated DOJ locations.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field preferred.
10+ yrs related experience OR Masters and 8+ yrs related exp
Extensive knowledge and experience in Asset Management.
Project management certificates, or ITIL certifications, are advantageous.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of ITIL framework and ITAM best practices.
Proficiency in using IT service management software like ServiceNow.
Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for reporting to and coordinating with government leads.
Ability to manage a team and lead asset management initiatives effectively.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the ITAM program and ensure compliance with the ITIL framework and government practices for life cycle management.
Manage and track IT assets using ServiceNow or other approved tools, ensuring accurate and up-to-date asset information and configurations.
Produce weekly incident reports and update the task status for the Government leads or GTMs.
Conduct bi-annual inventory of all account equipment and generate regular inventory reports for Government representatives.
Respond to asset audit events with accurate data and documentation as required.
Maintain documentation and conduct stringent quality checks to ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date.
