This is a full-time (40-50 hours per week) position.
This is a hybrid position with the office located in Spring, Texas (Houston, TX metro area).

The Director of Marketing is considered a leadership position at CWM and you will be responsible for implementing and executing the vision of the company through multiple sub-departments or initiatives such as: content creators, sales, conversion/advertising, ppc, etc. Since CWM is a small-business with a small team, you should be excited to wear many hats; oftentimes you will both lead and implement the vision and strategy of the brand. This position is considered the Department Leader for the entire marketing department. Management of the marketing department currently includes 2-3 team members. You must be growth minded.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Marketing or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented. You must be excellent at creating systems and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and management skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and management
- Familiarity with marketing trends within social media, affiliate marketing, emails, paid campaigns, etc.
- Ability to travel 2-3 weeks out of the year.
- Experience in e-commerce is not required, but would be a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
- As the Department Leader, your main responsibility will be to implement the company vision within your department. Similarly, you will cast your own departmental vision, set an appropriate strategy, and implement that plan on an annual basis.
- Lead, Manage, and hold Accountable (LMA) a growing team of marketing specialists
- Strategize and implement new streams of revenue, such as podcast advertising, Amazon ppc, affiliate marketing, etc.
- Learn the details of each role within the marketing department and help create the necessary content/copy as needed
- Oversee an annual departmental budget for ad spend, with the review of the Controller and President
- Create annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly goals for the entire department and work with each team member to ensure success
- Cast vision for the marketing team and ensure everyone is working toward the mission of CWM
- Serve on the Leadership Team and contribute toward company-wide vision casting and new initiatives
- Work cross-departmentally to ensure brand cohesion.
- Write captions for social, copy for paid ads, and content for newsletters, according to business needs.
- Consult with the content department to ensure our marketing copy aligns theologically with our statement of faith.
- Understand the felt needs and pain points of customers.
- Implement systems and processes that reduce human error, maximize efficiency, and improve communication.
- Cultivate What Matters has a sister brand, The Daily Grace Co. The Director of Marketing will report directly to the VP of Cultivate, but may also work with other marketing professionals within Daily Grace Enterprises on strategy and problem solving.
- Regularly evaluate the marketing strategy as a whole and adjust as necessary to match an ever-changing marketplace.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting annual salary for this position is approximately $70,000-90,000 based upon experience.
