Job description
LHH is seeking an Office Manager for a family office client in Santa Fe, NM. This opportunity is direct hire opportunity. In this role, you will manage the overall office operations. You will be responsible for any matter involving financial, legal, insurance, tax, household, or philanthropic issues. For the right candidate our client will offer relocation assistance. Responsibilities: - Provide assistance in preparing financial statements, investment analysis reports, cash flow analysis reports, and additional reporting as needed
- Assist in the coordination of travel arrangements for office travel
- Handle financial and accounting transactions for individual, trust, non-profit, and other entities
- Estimate tax calculations & payments
- Facilitate tax preparation & planning by maintaining an effective business relationship with third party individuals
- Assist with investment, philanthropic, and estate planning services with third party individuals
- Administer payment of private investment capital calls
- Prepare subscription documents for new private investments
- Manage family affairs by coordinating with family members directly
- Oversee management and accounting of domestic & foreign real properties by working with residential staff, vendors, and outside property managers
- Manage small staff
- Maintain strict confidentiality
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- At least 7 years of experience in a similar capacity (family office, wealth management, asset management)
- Experience working with a CPA firm
- Previous knowledge analyzing investment portfolios
- Proficient in MS Office
- Previous use of accounting software
