Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified X-Ray Technologist to join our Radiology team on a permanent basis. The X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for conducting radiographic procedures and ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services to our patients. This position offers a minimum guaranteed of 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures by providing clear instructions and proper positioning.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain optimal imaging results and facilitate accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain equipment functionality by performing routine maintenance checks and promptly reporting any malfunctions or issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, procedure documentation, and imaging results.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain cleanliness and organization in the radiology department.
- Assist patients with special needs or mobility challenges to ensure their comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of radiology services.
- Stay abreast of advances in radiologic technology and best practices through ongoing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent.
- State licensure or certification as required by regulatory authorities.
- Strong understanding of radiographic procedures, techniques, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
