Job description
A fast-growing venture capital firm seeks an Administrative Assistant - Operations to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative duties for senior management, including but not limited to: screening calls, managing calendars, travel arrangements, operations organization charts, processing expenses, meeting and event planning, and client relations.
- Responsible for the coordination of the day-to-day operation of the CFO's office
- Arrange and coordinate meetings (including space, travel, meals and equipment).
- Proactively manage special projects delegated by senior management including monthly reporting.
- Research and compile data for senior management on routine and special projects.
- Respond to routine requests for information from external and internal sources.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, reports, and presentations.
- Coordinate with managers and HR to onboard new employees.
- Assist with accounts payables and billing
- Entering invoices
- Ad-hoc accounting analysis
Qualifications:
- highly proficient with PowerPoint and Excel and ready to be trained to become an “expert user”.
- Must be extremely organized and detailed. Someone who enjoys creating order to chaos.
- High aptitude to learn new things and to get things done without heavy oversight.
- Someone with a great attitude that isn’t going to get nervous easily.
The role is 50% assisting the accounting team and 50% assisting the CFO with administrative duties.
