Job description

Gardening and Floral Assistant 

Blooming Hill Farm is looking for someone to help with maintaining the gardens and assist with decorating the event space and restaurant. We are located on 1251 Route 208 between Monroe and Washingtonville. Our restaurant and wedding venue is located on an operating farm. 

Compensation is starting at $15 per hour. This is a part time position with a flexible schedule of 20 hours a week (Must be available Monday - Thursday.) 

Responsibilities include:

• Foraging and gathering wild flowers 
• Decorating event space with foraged plants and flowers
• Maintaining cut flower garden
• Monitoring the health of all plants and greenscapes
• Caring for indoor plant collection 
• Watering and feeding plants
• Weeding and mulching 
• Using gardening tools 

A knowledge of regional plant life and indoor house plant care is a plus. We are looking forward to hearing from you!
