Job Title - Network Aruba L3 Implementation Engineer
Location - Irving TX
Relevant Experience (in Yrs) 8+ Years
Technical/Functional Skills Aruba Controllers (L3 level of Expertise)
Aruba, switching, wireless, Cisco Data networking.
Routing protocols - BGP, EIGRP, OSPF
SWITCHING - Cisco, Aruba
Wireless - Aruba central, Mobility Master, Controller (should have hands on experience)
Infoblox - DHCP/DNS
Must be a Aruba Wireless and LAN Networking Subject Matter Expert
Must have experience implementing and troubleshooting HPE Aruba networking equipment, protocols, and features
WLAN/LAN/WAN engineering and implementation
Must be able to support break-fix Aruba Controllers, Access-Points, and Unified Access solutions.
At least 3 of the following Routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPv4, IPv6
Experience Confidence working on live customer production networks
5 years hands-on experience with supporting Aruba wireless controllers and Access Points
5 years hands-on experience with supporting Aruba ClearPass
Experience with network operations or related work
Working experience with Cisco switches
Provision Client/RAPs
Troubleshoot/fix wireless connectivity issues
Troubleshoot problems with Guest Wi-Fi
Execute scheduled changes on Aruba OS 8.X platform
Execute scheduled changes on ClearPass policy manager
Fetch reports from Aruba Airwave and ClearPass Insight
Test bug-fixes in a lab environment
Analyze packet captures (wired and wireless)
Experience Required 8-15 Years
Roles & Responsibilities Should be able to handle Incidents, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Aruba Clear Pass Policy Manager independently
Deploying new Aruba IAPs, Integrating with Airwave, migrating from legacy wireless Infrastructure
Identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues related to Aruba Clear Pass
Experience in any (Cisco, Aruba) Wireless Access point and Wireless LAN controller, Site Survey
Experience in IP Address Management tools like Blue cat/ Solar Winds/Windows
Troubleshooting Wi-Fi related issues (added advantage- Knowledge on wireless cloud infrastructure)
Handling Authentication servers. AAA, Radius, Tacacs
Good understanding of Incident, Asset, Problem and Change Management (ITIL)
