Radiologic TechnicianNew grads welcome | Sign-on Bonus | Relocation AssistanceAbout the Position: Conduct routine and portable x-ray exams, ensuring efficient operation of equipment and adherence to radiation safety, quality assurance, and infection control standards. Assess diagnostic images for technical quality, ensuring they meet required standards. Confirm and update patient details and examination records, adjusting exam descriptions as necessary to accurately reflect the procedures performed. Efficiently use PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), RIS (Radiology Information System), and the current Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, along with completing all necessary documentation for each exam. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of x-ray and related equipment, following infection control guidelines. Report any equipment malfunctions or repair needs to supervisory staff. Fulfill all required continuing education and training mandates as specified by regulatory bodies. Assist patients with mobility, applying correct body mechanics during transfers, lifting, and ambulation. Maintain a valid Basic Life Support (CPR) certification. Undertake additional responsibilities as needed, while upholding the organizations standards of behavior and code of conduct.
