Job description
Kforce's client in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a commercial Account Manager.
Key Tasks:
- Account Manager will apply understanding of corporate objectives, brand and marketing strategies, industry dynamics and internal capabilities for annual planning and ongoing account management
- Attend lunch & learns, tradeshows, demonstrations and industry events with Commercial regional managers and manufacturer representatives in the field to learn best practices and assist with selling endeavors
- Work with Director of Sales Commercial to develop and maintain customer relationships, review and optimize customer program agreements, identify sales opportunities, monitor budgets and adjust forecasts to meet market demand
- Partner with Account Specialist on promotional plans and opportunities, new item recommendations for customers, tradeshow support and advertising for the Commercial marketplace
- Monitor 3P online seller customers, working with the team on identifying growth opportunities, new products and support that complements our overall Ecommerce strategy
- Partner with team on annual account planning, refinement of go-to-market channel strategy, and provision of product feedback and market intelligence
- Work with Customer Service, Finance, and Distribution on customer logistics and payment issues as needed
- Prepare monthly/quarterly recaps of channel activity and support, sales performance, key customer updates, rep activity, and competitive activity; Submit detailed and timely customer meeting recaps
- As an Account Manager, you will work with team to develop and deliver meaningful presentations at customer meetings; Represent company with the team at tradeshows, industry meetings and customer events
- Work with team on regular monitoring of POS trends, measurement of promotional performance, line optimization and industry analyses for assigned accounts
