As our company continues to grow so does our team. We are looking for an entry-level Accounting Specialist to work from our HQ in Wilmington, NC!

On an average day, you will:

• Deposit checks to the bank
• Generate financial reports as needed
• Create and send invoices
• Work directly with customers and vendors to address outstanding accounts receivables and accounts payables
• Categorize transactions daily using QuickBooks Online
• Maintain receipts/documentation for expenses, including approval from appropriate department
• Assist with month-end closing procedures (bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, month-end adjustments)
• Reconcile accounts and investigate any debits or credits that have not posted

 

To qualify for this job, you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 1+ years of experience in accounting 
• Familiarity with Quickbooks Online
• Ability to maintain confidential information 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Proficiency in oral and written communication
