Position:

VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation has an opening for a Freewave Product Manager in the Midland/Odessa, TX area. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, reliable, demonstrate a desire to learn and is capable of adapting quickly across job functions and responsibilities. Projects include providing management with analyses and reports and responding to questions and requests from management; providing information on a regular basis to the manufacturer regarding inventory levels, usage rates and point of sale; schedule and participate in quarterly business reviews between Management and the Manufacturer team; utilize sales funnel to forecast future business needs for this product; develop strategies to increase market share and drive results for pursuit of key customers; work with the finance team to ensure invoices and payments are addressed in a timely manner; participate in weekly sales calls to provide updates on new releases or product updates; develop marketing material specific to each branch; host and conduct training at our training facility or onsite at customer facilities; work closely with the Application Engineering team to deliver quick time to-market and optimal resources; and develop and maintain a successful manufacturer relationship. QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands on experience in radio technologies
• Proven work experience in Product Management.
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience with customer relationship management.
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working with licensed and non-licensed radios.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Experience with Enterprise and Contact Relationship Management software
• Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
• Ability and willingness to travel.

Hours

M-F 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (may be subject to change with the needs of the business)
