Job Description

The primary responsibility for the Boat Set Up Technician is to rig boats, complete minor maintenance on boats and motors.

Job Duties:

• Mounting of outboard engines on boats.
• Install marine electronics, trolling motors and other accessories.
• Light mechanic work pertaining to changing oil, filters, gear lube etc.
• Working on trailer lights, bearings and other minor maintenance on boats and motors.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Communicate with parts dept. to obtain parts needed
• Ensure Customers’ products are kept clean and notifies service manager of anything that changes the appearance or condition of the product. 
• Boat detailing and cleaning
• Attend product training and seminars if available
• Work Saturdays during peak season then as part of a rotation schedule
• Other duties assigned by Management

Prefer some knowledge of Boats and Marine Electronics or automotive experience.   On the job training for qualified applicant.
