Job description
Title: Application Architect
Location: Spring, TX, 77389 (Hybrid)
Duration: 12-month contract-to-hire
Work Requirements: s, Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Application architect focuses on the following:
- Implementing and driving the secure software development lifecycle in partnership with Enterprise Architecture & the Infrastructure Security Architect
- Drives and consults on Reference architectures, guidelines, principles, and standards as it relates to Microsoft Azure technologies (full spectrum), on-premises technologies
- Drives and consults on Dynamic and Static code testing (DAST/SAST)
- Drives and consults on secure code review and architecture/design reviews, especially surrounding data flow of applications, data classification, and securing assets relative to risk and data type
- Develops cybersecurity software reference architectures, standards, principles and guidelines
- Condenses technical, legal, and compliance requirements into simple, consumable formats that product leaders, engineering leaders, developers, and business leaders can understand
- Understands and scan support developers in secure coding best practices and has some software development or full stack development experience in the past. Languages such as Java, .net, and other software development languages are a plus
- Drives the cybersecurity roadmap and strategy relative to database, Data and Analytics, Application Development, AI and ML in partnership with the relevant organizations and enterprise architecture
- This role is not intended to be hands on, but needs to have a deep enough understanding of hands on to provide technical consultation
